Past Continuous دەمێ بوریێ بەردەوام
  • ئەم بۆریێ بەردەوام بکارئینن بو دیارکرنا کارەکێ یان ژی رویدانەکێ کو ل شێوازێ بەردەوام دابیت ل دەمێ بوری دا.

  • We use past continuous (progressive) to describe an activity or event in progress over a period of time in the past.
  • Past Continuous
    Positive: S+ was/ were + V.ing + C. 1. He was walinkg with his friends.
    2. They were studying together.
    Negative: S+ wasn’t/ weren’t + V.ing +C. 1. She wasn't eating with them.
    2. They weren't watching the game.
    Yes/No Question: Was/ Were +S+ V.ing + C? 1. Was he reading for the exam?
    2. Were they playing chess?
    Wh.Question: Wh.+ was/were+S+ V.ing +C? 1. Why was he driving fast?
    2. Where were they playing chess?
